12 mushrooms

1 onion

1 garlic cloves

1 inch ginger

1 can chopped tomatoes

60 g green peas

0.5 tsp turmeric

1 tsp cumin

0.25 tsp garam masala

0.5 tsp coriander powder

0.5 tsp chilli powder

small handful coriander leaves

130 g basmati rice

2 Cali Cali pop-a-grains


  1. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan on medium heat, add the chopped onions and saute until translucent, then add the ginger and garlic paste and saute for another min.
  2. Add the chopped mushrooms, fry for about 2 mins, add the tinned tomatoes, and all the spices, let it simmer on low heat for about 3 to 4 mins.
  3. Add the green peas, mix well together, cover and cook for 3 to 4 mins, until everything is cooked.
  4. Garnish with chopped coriander, serve cooked basmati rice and pop a grain on the side. Enjoy.
