Cookie Dough Bars
Nutritional value per serving
3 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
80 g dark chocolate chips
100 g ground almonds
1 tbsp honey
30 g whey protein
1. Melt the peanut butter with the vanilla, either in the microwave or in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water. Stir in the ground almonds and honey and mix well. Leave to cool.
2. When it has cooled down mix in the protein powder and dark chocolate chips till you have a big ball of cookie dough.
3. Flatten the ball into a tray lined with baking parchment, so that it is evenly spread out and roughly 2 cm thick. Chill in the fridge for a couple of hours.
4. If you would like to melt a little chocolate and drizzle over the top and put back in the fridge to chill.
