Slow Cook Spagetti Bolognese

500 g beef lean mince

1 onion

1 carrot

1 garlic cloves

400 g can chopped tomatoes

2 tbsp tomato purée

1 tsp dried oregano

200 g wholemeal spaghetti*

1 tbsp parmesan cheese grated


  1. Chop onions, carrots,  and crush the garlic.
  2. Heat a wok and fry off the beef  & onion & garlic into the pan
  3. Add to the slow cooker along with the other ingredients and cook on high for 4 hours. with the temperature still on – Leave the lid off  to reduce and thicken the sauce at the end of the fours hours
  4. While the sauce is thickening cook the spaghetti as per package instructions
  5.  Use parmesan cheese to coat over (optional).
