Beef and Black Bean Stir-Fry

1 tbsp olive oil

2 garlic cloves

2 inch ginger

300 g sirloin steak

4 tbsp black bean sauce

200 g brown rice


1. Heat 1 tbsp. oil in a wok.
2. Add the finely sliced garlic and grated ginger and fry for a few mins.
3. Add thinly sliced beef and cook until the beef starts to colour. Add the trimmed and blanched beans and stir-fry for a minute more.
4. Stir in the black bean sauce and add a splash of water, moving everything around the wok so it is evenly coated.
5. Cook for another minute or two. Serve with rice.

Can also use basmati rice if preferred.
