Beef Koftas with Couscous Salad

Can also use Lamb or Turkey mince


100 g beef lean mince

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp cumin

83 g couscous

0.5 red onion

1 garlic cloves

5 slices cucumber

1 tomatoes

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 handful mixed leaves

1 pinch salt

1 pinch black pepper


1. Mix mince into a bowl with cinnamon and cumin,diced onions and pinch of salt & pepper.
2. Mould the mince mixture into 2 equal sized sausage shapes around a skewer.
3. Place on the grill.
4. Cook couscous as per package instructions.
5. Grill on each side until cooked through (5 mins each side).
6. Mix the mixed leaves, couscous, chopped cucumber, chopped tomato and vinegar in a bowl.
