Ingredients
12 mushrooms
1 onion
1 garlic cloves
1 inch ginger
1 can chopped tomatoes
60 g green peas
0.5 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin
0.25 tsp garam masala
0.5 tsp coriander powder
0.5 tsp chilli powder
small handful coriander leaves
130 g basmati rice
2 Cali Cali pop-a-grains
Directions
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan on medium heat, add the chopped onions and saute until translucent, then add the ginger and garlic paste and saute for another min.
- Add the chopped mushrooms, fry for about 2 mins, add the tinned tomatoes, and all the spices, let it simmer on low heat for about 3 to 4 mins.
- Add the green peas, mix well together, cover and cook for 3 to 4 mins, until everything is cooked.
- Garnish with chopped coriander, serve cooked basmati rice and pop a grain on the side. Enjoy.
