Breakfast Apple Quinoa
70 g quinoa
500 ml almond milk
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1.5 tsp turmeric
8 tbsp greek style 0% natural yogurt*
60 g whey protein any flavour
1. Peel and grate the apple.
2. On a non-stick pan, add quinoa, almond milk, spices and the grated apple on a medium heat.
3. Cook for about 15 mins and allow to simmer until the quinoa has fully expanded. (Add a little water if it looks dry).
4. Put into a bowl and top with greek yogurt and walnuts.
5. Serve with a protein shake to the side.
