Beef Koftas with Salad

Can also use Lamb or Turkey mince


100 g beef lean mince

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp ground cumin

0.5 red onion

1 garlic cloves

5 slices cucumber

1 tomatoes

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 handful mixed leaves

1 pinch salt

1 pinch black pepper


1. Mix mince into a bowl with cinnamon and cumin, diced onions, finely chopped garlic and pinch of salt & pepper.
2. Mould the mince mixture into 2 equal sized sausage shapes around a skewer.
3. Place on the grill.
4. Grill on each side until cooked through (5 mins each side).
5. Chop the tomatoes & cucumber.
6. Mix the mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato and vinegar in a bowl.
