Reassessing your goals
Reassessing your goals
Hi guys, now is a good time to reassess those goals that we set a few weeks ago. As we mentioned motivation may have started to wane if not thrown out the window completely, one major problem is that when people set goals they don’t set themselves up for success, instead of setting themselves up for failure. Take the area of weight loss for example. A person will come into the new year, all gung ho I’m going to lose 2 stone in 8weeks! They go change about 20 million different things at one time, cut out all foods they like, cut out meals out with friends, go from no exercising to 10hrs per week, stop smoking etc etc etc. you will start off flying but it’s only a matter of time before you hit a stumbling block, go sod this and revert back to what you where doing pre-Xmas and fail, sound familiar anyone? Instead of that majorly strict short term approach, It is much better to take a longer-term lose 2 stone in 6 months approach, and not cut out all the aforementioned stuff, just moderate it better. If you take that slower approach you will enjoy it more, and you will succeed! Ask yourself if you would rather fail in 1 month or succeed over 6 months?
